Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center

CINCINNATI CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER

Welcome to Cincinnati Children’s!

We offer comprehensive clinical services, from treatments for rare and complex conditions to well-child care. In the 2017-18 U.S. News & World Report survey of best children’s hospitals, Cincinnati Children’s ranked No. 3 among all Honor Roll hospitals.  With more than 600 registered beds, Cincinnati Children’s had more than 1.3 million patient encounters and served patients from all 50 states and 58 countries, including 589 international patients, in fiscal 2017.

Cincinnati Children’s is proud to have been granted Magnet status by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in February 2009, with re-designation in 2013.  The Magnet Recognition Program® is the gold standard for acknowledging nursing excellence and collaboration among care providers. Organizations must demonstrate evidence of outstanding quality, innovation and outcomes in both documentation and a site visit.

Our Research Foundation is ranked second among all pediatric centers receiving research grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

As a student, you will increase your knowledge of growth and development issues, age specific care, participate in family-centered care philosophy and more. Throughout your clinical experience, you will join an outstanding staff that is committed to providing excellent patient care and developing your potential as a future RN.
